Northern Skies Outfitters
Let me begin by introducing myself: My name is Mat Schauer, the owner of Northern Skies Outfitter Service. I have been an avid snow goose hunter since the conservation order season began in 1999 and a die hard waterfowl hunter for many years before that. I have been guiding snow goose hunts since 2004. I started this guide service because I wanted to share my passion for snow goose hunting with others. There is no other waterfowl that decoys like a snow goose, and a day spent in the right decoy spread will never be forgotten. I have a great respect for these birds and their intelligence. I consider myself a lifelong student of snow goose hunting, and believe there is always room for improvement.
I approach every new group of hunters as if they were close friends, and look forward to trading hunting stories and tactics. I cherish the experience of getting our youth involved in the outdoors, and I encourage you to bring them with on your hunt because they are the future of our shooting sports. I offer a discounted rate for hunters 15 and under to help make this more economical.
Our experienced guides are all serious professional snow goose, canada goose, and duck hunters who give 110% everyday. They are dedicated to showing you the best hunt they can and will do whatever it takes to make it happen.
